Frances C. Furlong, MA; MEd, is a licensed educator in the Commonwealth of Virginia with certifications in preK-12 Theatre Arts; 6-12 English Language and Literature; and Gifted Education. She's been an arts educator in formal learning environments through public, private, 
parochial and charter school settings for over two decades and has worked in numerous informal learning environments including after- schools, enrichment programs, summer camps, and professional youth 
theatres in Central Virginia, Washington, D.C., and  Newark, N.J. from 1987-2015. She is author of "The Rehearsal Process in Youth Theatre: A Study of Peter Pan,”" published by The University of Virginia Press, available on WorldCat, being republished as a practical manual for emerging educa-tional theatre practitioners.
