Tom Booth is from Wren, MS and has degrees in Education and Accounting and has been the Executive Director for Tupelo Community Theatre since 2002. Tom has been active with the Mississippi Theatre Association and SETC serving in numerous leadership positions. He directed the first production in TCT's new black box theatre, TCT Off Broadway, in 2013. That show, The Santaland Diaries, represented Mississippi at SETC in the community theatre festival and was one of the winners in 2014. He has directed seven productions since 2001 which have won the Mississippi Community Theatre Festival and was awarded best director twice. The 2004 production of Bel Canto was also a winner at SETC, the 2013 production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee was runner-up best production and and Lone Star in 2015 was the winner. Tom is active in his church and community.
