Bill Kincaid teaches acting at Western Illinois University. He is also a professional actor and director who has worked at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Florida Studio Theatre, Cortland Repertory Theatre, and the Crossroads Repertory Theatre. His book, PERFORMING SHAKESPEARE UNREHEARSED: A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO ACTING AND PRODUCING SPONTANEOUS SHAKESPEARE, will be published in March by Routledge.
Bill is past recipient of a Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Faculty Fellowship, and of the Illinois Theatre Association's 2014 Award of Honor. He founded Bard in the Barn, which has done Unrehearsed productions of more than half of Shakespeare's plays.
