Christie Maturo is an Assistant Professor of Acting and Directing at Central Connecticut State University. Christie has performed with Undermain Theatre in Dallas, Now Theatre in Mobile, Shear Madness and Tony n Tina’s Wedding in Las Vegas, Theatre 773 in Chicago and was a company member with the Gaslight Theatre for three years. Christie has worked on national and regional commercials, feature and short films, voice overs, and digital series. Christie holds a BS in theatre from Towson University, a Secondary Teaching Credential from CSUB, and an MFA in acting from Northern Illinois University. She is a certified teacher of the Meisner and Chekhov techniques and a graduate of the Second City Conservatory. She is a member of Actors’ Equity Association and the Screen Actors Guild.
