Elaine Malone spent 36 years teaching theatre at The Galloway School in Atlanta, GA and at Durham Academy in Durham, NC. In 2005, Elaine received a Disney Teacher Award for Creativity in Teaching. She was a writer/reviewer for the textbook Basic Drama Projects. Elaine was on the Boards of Georgia Thespians and Georgia Theatre Conference. She is currently Chair of the Teachers Institute at the Southeastern Theatre Conference and is on the Board of North Carolina Thespians.
