Keone Kaukawele Fuqua is a professional actor, director, producer, stage manager and production manager. As Assistant Professor of Theatre & Communication and Department Chair, Mr. Fuqua heads the Theatre program, supervises the Theatre and Communication faculty, teaches various acting, directing, production, and oral interpretation courses, and directs productions within the WCU Theatre season. He has worked professionally in Miami, FL, Los Angeles, CA, and various regions in the southeast. Mr. Fuqua earned his MFA in Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi and BA from the University of South Alabama. His recent acting credits include roles in films such as Yellow Day, The Perfect Weapon, Convergence, Phoenix Rising and Night Claws, along with various stage roles. Mr. Fuqua also works annually with SETC as Operations Assistant Manager and is Co-Founder/Co-Artistic Director of Makalani Theatre Ensemble.
